Celebrating Valentine’s Day During Covid-19

Twenty and twenty two might as well be the return of those days when friends, lovers would organise a special lunch or dinner, and buy a gift to offer to their loved ones.

I believe, the last two years had a great impact as far as relationships is concerned. For many their feelings intensified, for others the end of their relationships became inevitable.

But the human being has a great capacity to overcome the most difficult challenges. The one who decides to face the problem will rise to meet the challenge and will never be the same. Remember you don’t need to do it alone, ask for help, for support.

Relationships are challenging indeed. It requires effort from both sides.

Most important is to keep in mind that you deserve a healthy relationship, to feel secure, and loved.

Now…

Take this opportunity to celebrate love, affection, friendship.

And when I say love, it is not exclusive to romantic relationships but also to express your affection to your friends.

A few years ago, more precisely in 2017, while I was driving and listening to the radio, I remember the story of a girl who decided to make a difference and surprised her girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. Although I don’t remember what the surprise was, I vividly recall the excitement expressed by the receiver that was in the call as well.

It’s true … you can express your love and appreciation any day of the year, but doing it on February 14th brings an extra excitement.

The invitation is to cultivate harmony in your relationships.

Please watch a short video I’ve prepared for this special day. You can choose between Portuguese (PT) and English (Eng).

Happy Valentine’s Day 🌹
